Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan's 9th district since 2021, shared her thoughts and experiences through a series of tweets on June 13, 2025. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, McClain graduated from Northwood University with a BBA in 1997.

On June 13, McClain expressed her trust in President Trump to restore peace in the Middle East amidst ongoing conflicts involving Israel. She stated: "Israel has been in a fight for its survival. I trust that President Trump, working with Israel and our allies, will restore peace in the region." The congresswoman also called for prayers for Israel, American troops, and citizens.

Later that day, McClain recounted her experience speaking at the House of Representatives’ Intern Lecture Series held in Washington. She tweeted: "It was an honor to speak with the next generation of leaders at the House of Representatives’ Intern Lecture Series in Washington! We had a great conversation, and it was exciting to see how much they want to participate in our democracy."

In another post on June 13, McClain celebrated participating in the Congressional Baseball Game where over $2.75 million was raised for charity. She proudly mentioned: "A great time at the Congressional Baseball Game! We raised over $2.75 million for charity." Additionally, she highlighted the GOP's victory by stating they won the trophy for the fifth consecutive year.

Lisa McClain continues to serve as an influential figure within Congress while actively engaging with both political matters and community events.
