Chairwoman Lisa McClain discusses One Big Beautiful Bill Act benefits

Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan's 9th district since 2021, recently shared updates on her activities and legislative efforts through social media posts. McClain has been actively engaging with local communities and discussing the impact of significant legislative measures.

On June 18, 2025, McClain expressed her honor in speaking at the Orion Area Chamber of Commerce’s 75th Anniversary event. She highlighted "how GM’s recent investment and the One Big Beautiful Bill Act will make a difference in the Lake Orion Area!" She also extended gratitude to the business leaders of Michigan's 9th district.

Later that day, McClain thanked Orchard Grove Senior Living Home in Romeo for hosting her visit. She discussed "how the One Big Beautiful Bill Act delivers a tax cut for seniors," aiming to help them afford everyday necessities by putting more money directly into their pockets.

On June 19, 2025, McClain announced that "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act is the BIGGEST TAX CUT in history for working and middle-class Americans." She emphasized that this historic legislation includes a provision for "NO TAX ON TIPS," proudly passed by the House GOP.

Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
