Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congress member representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, shared her thoughts on recent developments via social media on July 4, 2025.

On this day, McClain expressed gratitude towards her colleague with the message: "Thank you, @RepDavidKustoff, for leading the charge to secure the first federal Pro-Gun law in more than a decade!" This tweet was posted at 19:52 UTC.

Later that evening at 21:49 UTC, she tweeted about Independence Day celebrations with an enthusiastic note: "A birthday gift to America! One Big Beautiful Independence Day. "

Finally, McClain reflected on attending a significant event at the White House. At 23:05 UTC, she posted: "Such an honor to be at the White House for this historic moment!! "

Lisa McClain has been serving in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, she graduated from Northwood University with a BBA in 1997.
