On July 3, 2025, McClain tweeted "ANOTHER stellar Jobs Report thanks to @POTUS! The One Big Beautiful Bill Act will build on this momentum and supercharge our economy." This statement highlights her support for current economic policies under President Biden's administration.

Later that day, at 15:12 UTC, she emphasized the bill's fiscal responsibility by stating "The One Big Beautiful Bill Act eliminates waste, fraud, and abuse of Americans’ taxpayer dollars and strengthens Medicaid for those who need and deserve it most. These common-sense policies are exactly why the @HouseGOP remains UNITED to pass it today!" This underscores her belief in bipartisan efforts to ensure effective governance.

In another tweet posted at 17:21 UTC on the same day, McClain addressed criticism from political opponents: "Democrats continue to gaslight the American people about the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. Our bill will strengthen, secure, and sustain Medicaid for those who need it the MOST. They’d rather violent, illegal aliens receive Medicaid rather than the most vulnerable Americans." Lisa McClain has been serving in Congress since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. Born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently residing in Bruce, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Northwood University obtained in 1997.
