On July 7, 2025, McClain expressed her concerns about violence against Border Patrol agents. She stated that "Border Patrol agents risk their lives every day to keep our communities safe. This egregious act of violence is unacceptable and a direct result of the left’s inflammatory rhetoric." She extended her prayers for the injured officer and emphasized her ongoing concern for their safety.
The following day, July 8, McClain celebrated legislative progress with the One Big Beautiful Bill Act. She described it as "a major win for MI-09 and for every hardworking American." Her tweet highlighted the significance of this legislation for her constituents in Michigan's 9th district.
On July 9, McClain attributed a decrease in gas prices to current energy policies. She noted that "Because of @POTUS’ energy policies, July gas prices are the lowest they have been in four YEARS." Furthermore, she mentioned that the House GOP passed the One Big Beautiful Bill to support American energy independence and reduce expenses at fuel stations.
Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and resides in Bruce. She graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
