Chairwoman Lisa McClain highlights economic progress and manufacturing investments

Chairwoman Lisa McClain, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, recently shared several updates on economic and manufacturing developments as well as a reflection on a significant event in Pennsylvania.

On July 15, 2025, McClain commented on the latest inflation report, stating: "Another inflation report LOWER than expectations AGAIN! @POTUS and @HouseGOP’s policies are lowering costs for ALL Americans."

Later that day, she highlighted new investment in Michigan manufacturing with an announcement regarding Orion Assembly. In her post from July 15, 2025, she wrote: "Great news! In addition to their $4 billion investment, starting in 2027, Orion Assembly will enable additional domestic production capability for full-size trucks and SUV products. This is another WIN for Michigan manufacturing and auto jobs!"

In a separate post on July 15, 2025, McClain reflected on an event from Butler, Pennsylvania: "We are forever grateful that God saved America’s fighter in Butler, Pennsylvania 367 days ago!"

Lisa McClain was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. She graduated from Northwood University in 1997 with a BBA.
