Chairwoman Lisa McClain, a U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, has recently shared several statements on her official Twitter account regarding the current presidential administration and recent border security legislation.

On July 18, 2025, McClain posted support for the current president, stating: ".@POTUS is leading the most transparent administration in the history of the United States. Trust Trump!"

Later that day, she shared a link without additional commentary: "https://t.co/B4MCNurbNJ" (July 18, 2025).

In another post on July 18, McClain highlighted recent legislative efforts related to border security: “This transformational legislation, which President Trump recently signed into law, invests in state-of-the-art technology, Border Patrol Agents, and miles of physical barrier on the southern border.” More from my joint Op-Ed with @MarkAmodeiNV2 on how the One Big Beautiful https://t.co/6SMvMKvQ3d"
