Matt Maddock, a Michigan state legislator, posted a series of tweets on July 18 and 19, 2025, expressing opinions on local media figures and political developments in Genesee County.

On July 18, Maddock referenced journalist Tim Skubick of WKAR, stating: "Legendary “Sneak-Attack” Skubick @WKAR, in an earnest moment, saying he agrees with me 97% of the time." This tweet highlights Maddock's relationship with the veteran Michigan political reporter.

The following day, Maddock shared a brief message: "https://t.co/77NCg6V9YE Overtime." The post contains only a link and the word "Overtime," without further context.

Later on July 19, Maddock made a critical statement regarding local governance: "Democrat-run Genesee County should do prison time for this. https://t.co/lkXgSuq4cE" In this tweet, he accuses the leadership of Genesee County—currently led by Democratic officials—of actions warranting criminal consequences. As of early 2024, Genesee County is governed by officials affiliated with the Democratic Party.

Matt Maddock serves as a member of the Michigan House of Representatives. His social media presence often features commentary on state politics and criticism of political opponents.
