On July 24, McClain commented on recent developments involving Columbia University: "A massive win for @POTUS and his administration. This settlement underscores the fact that Columbia FAILED to protect Jewish students, faculty, and staff. I commend @EDSecMcMahon for fighting for what’s right. @HouseGOP and the @EdWorkforceCmte will continue our work to". In this post, she referenced a settlement involving Columbia University and praised Secretary of Education McMahon for efforts supporting Jewish members of the campus community.
