Matt Maddock, a Michigan state representative, posted several tweets on July 27, 2025, expressing concerns about the judiciary and sharing brief messages with his followers.

In a tweet posted at 14:00 UTC, Maddock commented on the perceived relationship between judicial ideology and crime rates: "STREET FACT: When TC had conservative judges, criminals stayed far away. Today criminals know it’s a safe refuge to do crime because leftist judges https://t.co/c1Dt0CWXe2".

Later that day at 17:53 UTC, he posted another message stating simply: "Now you know https://t.co/bnOAEvA44r".

At 20:47 UTC on the same day, Maddock shared an additional post featuring heart emojis: " https://t.co/3xiQXtyCdE".
