Lisa McClain, U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, posted a series of messages on July 29, 2025, addressing topics from the economy to immigration and space exploration.
In her first post of the day, McClain expressed support for former President Donald Trump’s economic policies. On July 29, she wrote: "TRUST TRUMP! Americans can see @POTUS’ vision playing out in real time, and the results are creating a stronger U.S. economy."
Later that afternoon, McClain acknowledged NASA’s anniversary with a congratulatory message. At 18:20 UTC, she posted: "To the stars and beyond. Happy Birthday, @NASA!"
Addressing border security and law enforcement later in the evening, McClain commented on recent changes regarding immigration enforcement. At 19:34 UTC on July 29, she stated: "For four years under Biden, violent illegal aliens were given a free pass to roam our streets. Now, @POTUS is letting them DO THEIR JOBS! Thank you, @CBP, for keeping our communities safe!"
Lisa McClain has represented Michigan's 9th District since replacing Paul Mitchell in 2021. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. McClain graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in 1997.
