Matt Maddock, a Michigan state representative, posted several statements on his Twitter account on July 31, 2025, addressing topics ranging from healthcare terminology to economic concerns and international trade.

In a tweet published at 13:58 UTC, Maddock commented on the language used by Democrats regarding healthcare. He wrote, "Democrat language translation: health care = abortion".

Later that day at 16:14 UTC, Maddock referenced rising costs for families and government assistance programs. He stated, "Thank a democrat Thursday. Now you are paying 400 for clothes for kids. BTW, a family can make 80k a year and get free food and clothes now."

At 16:40 UTC the same day, Maddock addressed his personal approach to purchasing goods manufactured in China. He tweeted, "Every day I go out if my way not to buy chyna junk and give the communist pigs money. Starve the pig. They’d literally starve us if they could."

Matt Maddock has served as a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives since 2019.
