U.S. Congresswoman Lisa McClain, who represents Michigan’s 9th district, shared a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter) on August 11 and 12, 2025, addressing law enforcement in Washington D.C., Democratic Party strategies, and Republican achievements.

On August 11, McClain posted: "DC Police have been handcuffed by radical liberals for far too long. The brave men and women in uniform are sick and tired of pro-crime Democrats preventing them from keeping DC safe. They are ready to restore law and order to our nation’s capital!"

The following day, she wrote: "Don’t fall for Democrat fearmongering. Republicans are delivering big, beautiful wins for the American people!" Later that same day, McClain added: "We call that, the Trump Effect! "

Lisa McClain has served as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives since 2021 after succeeding Paul Mitchell. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce at age 57. McClain earned her Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University in 1997.
