Chairwoman Lisa McClain, U.S. Congresswoman representing Michigan’s 9th district since 2021, has been promoting her legislative initiative known as the "One Big Beautiful Bill" through a series of visits and community engagements across several congressional districts.

On August 13, 2025, McClain posted on social media about the beginning of her tour: "Proud to have kicked off the first leg of the One Big Beautiful Bill Tour in the districts of @CongressmanKean, @RepBresnahan, and @RepMackenzie, where we met the Americans this bill is built for—small business owners, waitresses, workers, and manufacturers—who will keep MORE".

Later that same day, she emphasized the goal of her tour in another post: "My Big Beautiful Tour is all about giving @HouseGOP’s policies a face in our communities. This bill makes the American Dream a reality again for working-class families. I am honored to share their success stories alongside my colleagues!"

On August 14, 2025, McClain highlighted support from law enforcement: "Loved meeting with our #MI09 law enforcement community and sharing the good news about how the One Big Beautiful Bill DELIVERS for our men and women in blue!"

McClain succeeded Paul Mitchell as representative for Michigan's 9th district and has held office since 2021. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and currently resides in Bruce. In addition to her legislative work, McClain graduated from Northwood University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1997.
