Matt Maddock, Michigan State Representative for 51st District | Michigan House Republicans

Matt Maddock, a public figure and state representative in Michigan, posted a series of tweets on August 22 and 23, 2025, addressing topics ranging from artificial intelligence productivity to criticisms of nonprofit organizations and political opponents.

On August 22, Maddock highlighted the efficiency of an AI tool: "I just had Grok do a project for me that would have taken me at least three to four hours to do and it took less than ten minutes."

The following day, he expressed concerns about government spending on nonprofits: "Ppl will go from free stuff to free stuff as long as it lasts and we have tons of taxpayer-funded free stuff dolled out by thousands of communist nonprofits funded with tax dollars. https://t.co/0vejfjbpWu" In this post dated August 23, Maddock criticized what he described as widespread distribution of publicly funded resources through nonprofit organizations.

Later on August 23, Maddock made another post referencing potential unrest: "The communists ain’t going to like this . Expect them to riot which will go very badly for them. https://t.co/PW84RO9YJp"

Matt Maddock is known for his outspoken views as a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives. He has previously voiced criticism regarding government expenditures on nonprofit organizations and frequently comments on issues related to political activism and technology use in government settings.
