Matt Maddock, a Michigan state representative and longtime bail bondsman, posted several statements on his social media account on August 30, 2025, expressing concerns about the criminal justice system and judicial policies in Michigan.

In one post, Maddock wrote, "Communist leftist judges are the most efficient way to ruin any nice safe community. Criminals go where they are." (August 30, 2025).

Later that day, he referenced his professional experience: "As a Bail Bondsman for 35 years, I can tell you so many stories about our Criminal Justice System and what’s great and bad about it. https://t.co/g4FulAlADn" (August 30, 2025).

In another statement made the same day, Maddock commented on judicial practices across Michigan: "Every city in Michigan has leftist judges who are continuing the Democrat policy of creating pain for the ppl in their cities by being nice to criminals" (August 30, 2025).

Maddock is known both for his role as a state legislator and his long tenure in the bail bond industry. His comments reflect ongoing debates within Michigan regarding criminal justice reform and perceptions of judicial leniency.
