Matt Maddock, a public figure and Michigan State Representative, posted several tweets on September 2, 2025, addressing topics ranging from road safety to bail reform.

In one post at 19:36 UTC, Maddock commented on rural driving conditions: "How often do you see a pickup haulin 70 on hilly curvy dirt roads?"

Later that evening at 23:48 UTC, he criticized certain bail policies in U.S. cities: "Every city with taxpayer-funded zero bail is run by the criminals. They love it. No excessive bail is guaranteed. Not zero bail." The issue of "zero bail" has been debated in various jurisdictions across the United States as some cities have adopted policies to eliminate cash bail for low-level offenses, aiming to reduce jail populations and address inequities in the criminal justice system.

A minute after his comments on bail policy, Maddock posted another tweet referencing political opponents: "Kommies didn’t know what hit them."

Maddock's posts reflect ongoing discussions around public safety and criminal justice reform. As a member of the Michigan House of Representatives, Maddock has been an active participant in legislative debates on these subjects.
