U.S. Representative Lisa McClain, who serves Michigan’s 9th district, shared messages on social media over the first week of September 2025 marking Labor Day, commemorating the end of World War II, and wishing students a successful return to school.

On September 1, McClain posted a message recognizing workers in her home state: "Happy Labor Day to the Michiganders who have never shied away from hard work to get the job done. The next generation of great American innovation starts with YOU! https://t.co/TRgpSJbHBF"

The following day, she honored American service members and the conclusion of World War II: "Today, we honor the official end of the Second World War. God bless the fearless American service members who took the fight for freedom across the globe! https://t.co/UDrdXsxhL0" (September 2).

On September 3, as students returned to classrooms across her district, McClain offered encouragement: "As students across MI-09 head back to school this week, I want to wish them all good luck! Study hard, learn as much as you can, and keep reaching for the stars. Have a great school year! https://t.co/FnPMGTyByi"

Lisa McClain has represented Michigan’s 9th congressional district since 2021 after succeeding Paul Mitchell. She was born in Stockbridge, Michigan in 1966 and resides in Bruce. In addition to her legislative role, McClain holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Northwood University.
